Who we are
Crescita Consult Uganda SMC Limited ("Crescita", "we", "us") is a procurement consultancy based at Plot 1, Kamukuzi Hill, Crescita Building, Mbarara, Uganda. This policy explains how we handle personal information on this website and in our enquiries.
What we collect
This website does not store information about your visit, and it does not set cookies of its own.
We only hold information that you choose to send us by email or through the contact form. This usually means your name, your organisation, your contact details and the details of your enquiry.
Two third-party services are used on this site, and they have their own privacy practices:
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the site. Your browser requests them from Google, so Google may receive your IP address.
- Google Maps is embedded on our contact page. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and may set its own cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry and arrange a call or meeting;
- prepare a proposal and deliver the procurement services you ask for;
- keep the records we need to manage an engagement and meet our legal and professional obligations.
Who we share it with
We never sell personal information. We share it only with the people who need it to answer your enquiry or deliver your engagement, who are bound to keep it confidential, or where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to answer you and manage any engagement that follows, plus any period the law requires for business or procurement records. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- ask whether we hold information about you, and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need, or to stop using it for a particular purpose;
- withdraw any consent you have given us;
- complain to the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe we have handled your information unlawfully.

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. Email is not perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal details or bank account numbers unless we ask for them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
